President Bill Clinton on 19/11/2000, visited VICT and announced a USD 200 million line of credit to support US Investors seeking financing projects in Viet Nam. He made the announcement when addressing the Vietnamese business community at the VICT. He also said that the terminal symbolizes Vietnam's gate way to the future.
